The ADNSU provides training for all three levels of higher education - bachelor's, master's and doctoral. 7 faculties and 27 chairs provide uninterrupted service to improve the quality of education at the university. At present, about 13,000 undergraduate students, including 410 students study at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) at ADNSU. At the master's level, 1180 students are continuing their education, and 244 doctoral students are engaged in research activities. Students are offered to study in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
Currently, 1012 students are studying at the Faculty of Chemical Technology in Kmya Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Of these students, 763 are chemical engineers and 249 are environmental engineers. There are 250 students in the first course, 241 in the second year, 244 in the third year, and 232 in the fourth year. Three students study at the VIII course.
There are 1 academician, 16 professors, 64 associate professors, 18 senior teachers and assistants in the chemical technology faculty. At present, 1012 students are trained in the Department of Chemical Technology and 5 in the correspondence department.
Since 2016, by the order of the rector of the ADNSU, a scientific research laboratory "New Chemical Materials and Technologies" was established under the faculty. The laboratory is headed by Prof. Bagiev, Vagif Lachin oglu.
There are 13 professors, 4 doctors, 68 associate professors, 2 assistants and 29 laboratory assistants in the faculty.
The preparation of chemical engineers at ADNSU has been carried out in the Department of Chemistry since 1921 at the Faculty of Petroleum, from 1934 at the Faculty of Petroleum Technology and from 1940 at the Faculty of Chemical Technology. Since its inception at the faculty, about 18,000 chemical engineer-technologists have been trained for oil refining and petrochemical industry. Since 1981, the faculty has been training foreign nationals. Over the past years, 332 undergraduates, 326 masters and 33 PhD candidates have been prepared for 54 countries.

Mammadkhanova Sevinc Abduhamid kyzy was born on July 12, 1965 in Baku. In 1983 he graduated from high school No. 240 in Baku. In 1987 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the M. Azizbayov Institute of Chemical Technology with a degree in Technology. In 2002 he began his career as a junior research assistant at the Catalysis Oil Refinery Laboratory at the Department of Technology of Oil, Gas Chemistry and Processing at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. In 2003 he was accepted into the dissertation and in 2007 he defended his dissertation and was awarded the degree of candidate of chemical sciences by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 22, 2008 (protocol No. 04-K). In 2014 he defended his doctoral thesis in Chemistry at the Specialized Council of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. He has been working as a professor at the Department of Oil Refining and Industrial Technology. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 22, 2015 (protocol №09-R) he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Chemistry. Since 2003 he has been working as an assistant at the department "Oil processing and industrial technology of oil", since 2007 he is an assistant professor. Since 2016 she has been working as a professor in this department. He has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 2003. Since 2010 he is a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Chemical Technology. In 2010/2017 he served as Chairman of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Chemical Technology. Since 2015 he is a member of the Specialized Council of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

The Department of Social Sciences consists of 7 associate professors, 4 senior teachers and 3 teachers, including 19 professors, including 2 professors and 2 doctors of sciences. The department also has 7 substitute teachers. Teaching Auxiliary staff consists of 3 people.
Specialist in Chemical Technology began his career at the Baku Polytechnic Institute (now Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry Institute). In this direction, it has been implemented in 4 Petrochemical, Technology, Chemical and Chemical Technology faculties which have been operating under the same Institute for several years. The great contribution to the establishment of the faculty was made by prominent scientists and educators AA Akhundov, KN Kuluzade, SNUsaty, TS Akhundov and many others. During these years various scientists led our faculty. P. Shikhalizade, R.O. Lemberanski, S.F.Karaev, S.M.Mustafayev, E.O.Akhundov, F.A.Hashimov.
